4thFest to display third best fireworks show

Bernie Keisling, the executive director of Central Pa’s 4thFest, wants people to know that in State College “we know how to throw a party.” The 11th annual Central Pa’s 4thFest begins at 9 a.m. July 4 and is an all-day celebration filled with food, entertainment and a world-class firework display.

Ban on fireworks proposed

Alderwoman Jan Hogue has proposed a ban on fireworks within the city of Maumelle. She introduced the proposed ordinance during Monday evening’s City Council meeting but immediately called for a month’s delay before the proposal is read.
